Environmental Health Practitioners

Environmental health is concerned with preventing disease, death and disability by reducing exposure to adverse environmental conditions and promoting behavioral change.
Environmental health professionals work to ensure that the food we eat is safe and of good quality, to improve housing conditions, to safeguard standards of workplace health and safety, and to create a better environment.
The following professions are registered under the auspices of the Professional Board for Environmental Health Practitioners, namely:
- Environmental Health Practitioners
- Student Environmental Health Practitioners
- Environmental Health Assistants
